Today I received the bad news that one of my previous teachers at Tehran University passed away, Dr Mehdi Ghalibafian. I had a course with him on the third year of my bachelor years. He was a very famous teacher , very knowledgeable, very polite and gentle. Can't say more "God bless his great soul"

Today is the worse day of my life, when I heard that Dr. Ghalibafian Passed away. He was my mentor and best friend since 1967 when I first worked at SANO and then came to the U.S.A. I lost the most important person in my life.

While grieving the passing of my Uncle Metan (my Dayee), it was a delight to see this tribute to his accomplished life. Since I left home in '69, I had only seen him a few times in person but there has always been a special place for him in my heart. He was always my hero; gone but never forgotten.
